Your Privacy on Our Internet Sites

Round Robin Distribution Designs, LLC (furthermore known as RRDD) and its divisions*, subsidiaries and affiliates understand how important privacy is to our members and subscribers. Our privacy policy describes why, what, and how we collect information from you and what and to whom information is disclosed. It also tells how we safeguard your information when you visit our sites. We do not sell or rent any information about former or current visitors/members/subscribers to anyone.

Why We Collect Personal and/or Non-personal Information 

In general, we collect your personal and/or non-personal information from our web sites to:

1) administer products and provide any services you request or may authorize;
2) verify and identify members or visitors of 
RRDD;
3) collect and distribute visitors/members/subscribers opinions on issues affecting all industries;
4) fulfill your requests;
5) better meet the information, needs, and interests of our visitors/members/subscribers;
6) gather statistic and demographic information about our visitors/members/subscribers;
7) track accumulated traffic patterns or trends to our sites;
8) update our main database with current information to better serve you and to satisfy security measures

The Information We Collect 

The personal and/or non-personal information RRDD collects from you will vary and largely depends on visitors/members/subscribers’ participation. Described below are different features on our web site where we ask you to provide personal or non-personal information. Online Forms: The RRDD site provides online forms to request application programs for benefits or profits, membership signup with RRDD, pays dues and/or benefits for membership and/or subscription to RRDD. The specific information we collect from online forms will vary depending on the type of product, service or inquiry you choose. For example, the information we may collect from online forms includes (but is not limited to) name, address, telephone number, date of birth, credit card number, social security number and details about your personal preferences or business operations.

Email Alerts

When you register for the RRDD newsletter or alert, you will be notified via e-mail when there is important information or security issues affecting you. Your e-mail address is stored on our file server. We don’t use a third-party list builder to send alerts. Occasionally, the RRDD staff will contact you by telephone if we think immediate action is required or if there is a security concern.
If at any time you want to be removed from the email alerts, you'll find an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every e-mail you receive.

Daily E-mail News

When you register for the daily e-mail news, you are asked to submit your e-mail address, first and last name, and the state where you live. Your e-mail address is stored on our file server. We don’t use a third-party list builder to send daily e-mail news. If at any time you wish to be removed, simply notify us via regular email or using our contact form. You must contact us to Subscribe to any RRDD Membership Services and Newsletters.

When Offered

RRDD web-related professional insight is free to transportation professionals and their family members who meet certain criteria. Our auditors need to certify the eligibility of our subscribers. Therefore, when you subscribe to these RRDD services, it requires us to collect a unique identifier from you since you can’t submit your signature online. We ask you to submit your date of birth as your unique identifier. We also ask for your name, complete address, e-mail address and details about your personal preferences or business operations.
If you submit an e-mail address, we may notify you by e-mail when your subscription to RRDD is about to expire or to re-qualify you as a subscriber. If any of the information you submit is different from the information stored in our database, we will use the current information to update your record in our database. Surveys RRDD collects information from you when you voluntarily participate in our online surveys. The information we may collect from surveys includes (but is not limited to) your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. However, most of our online surveys are blind surveys so we do not ask for nor collect personal information, 
except to expedite services.

Cookies and Log Files
Non-personal information is collected automatically through the standard operations of our Internet server using session cookies that don’t reveal personal information about you. A session cookie is a line of text that is temporarily stored within your computer's memory and not written to your computer's hard drive. This type of cookie is destroyed as soon as you close your browser, because it is not written to your computer's hard drive. It enables you access to different areas of our web site without re-registering or re-entering your password. On most browsers, the help button contains information on how to set your browser to notify you before accepting or disabling a cookie. However, if you don't accept cookies, you could receive error messages or some pages on our site won't display properly.
Your IP address and your browser type are kept on our log files showing non-personal information such as the date and time of your visit to the web site.
 RRDD is allowed to track traffic patterns and trends or to identify technical problems within our site using your non-personal information.

Information We May Disclose 

RRDD does not sell, rent, or lend any visitors', members' or subscribers' personal information to telemarketers, mailing list brokers or any other non-affiliated company. We may only disclose your information to third parties upon proper request, or as required or permitted by law. Subscriber names and demographics are disclosed to certified external auditors for auditing purposes and industry reporting. We also may disclose your information to service or process transactions you may authorize.
We may share, publish online or in print any aggregate statistics that are compiled from RRDD or its affiliates' online surveys with the media, government agencies, advertisers and other third parties. Aggregate statistics will not identify your name or other personal information about you.

To Whom We Disclose Information
If you purchase any service product through a RRDD subsidiary, we share the information that you provide with a limited number of outside companies so that your claims can be processed quickly and efficiently. All companies with which we share such information are clearly outlined during signup. Some of these outside service companies are clearly marked as clickable button links where you can view any outside service policies. RRDD is not responsible for actions initiated by these processing service groups that result in loss of identity or by fraudulent or deceptive practices within outside service- providers or by your use of any web site you may be directed to that is not within the RRDD original web site address or any of its division addresses. You may address any concerns about sharing your information with these providers by contacting the provider or you may contact RRDD for questions related to our policies regarding our limited use of these providers to process your information in our effort to provide you, our services.

Safeguarding Your Information                                                                                               

RRDD works to protect the security of your information during transmissions by using secure socket layer (SSL) software, when possible, which encrypts any information you input. Please be sure the s is on the https version page. We also use passwords and various firewalls. These measures increase the security and privacy of information traveling to, from, and within RRDD websites.
Employees who have access to any online information are required to follow company procedures designed to keep the information secure and confidential. Employees who violate our privacy policies will be subject to immediate termination and to disciplinary actions when appropriate.

Child Safety Issues 

RRDD is very concerned with the safeguarding of the identities of our young readers. All guests must be 18 or older to participate in chats, blogs, discussions, or other services provided by RRDD; however, there is no absolute security and parents should take every precaution to keep their children safe while they interact with others on this site or any other site on the internet. Clicking on ads or other material not generated by RRDD, such as pop-ups or other non-authorized vendors or site-related advertisers, is exposing that guest to risk of identity theft and is not condoned or encouraged by RRDD or any of its divisions or affiliates. Please contact us with any concerns you may have regarding this issue. Suggestions for site security for children are appreciated.

Miscellaneous
Chats, Blogs, and Discussion Groups: Information you submit in discussion groups, bulletin boards and chat rooms are publicly displayed. Chats, blogs and discussion groups are restricted to RRDD visitors/members/subscribers, but it is possible for messages to be seen by people or organizations not related to RRDD. As a result, third parties may use these to contact you, you should be very careful about the information you include in these messages. Unrelated parties would also see your "username" on any postings that you make in the discussion groups, so you may not want to use your full name.

Advertisers 

Advertiser links or web site links that you go to or from our site may collect personal information about you and may have their own privacy policies that differ from RRDD and are not covered by our privacy policy. Therefore, you must review any privacy policies on these sites carefully before using any services or programs they may offer.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy
RRDD will update its privacy policy and post any changes on our web site and other places so that our users are kept aware of what, how, and under what circumstances we use or disclose their information. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
